Find the 110 Girls Kidnapped by Boko Haram

  • by: Audry M

In 2014, the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls brought attention to an astonishing tragedy in Nigeria. Militant extremists known as Boko Haram had attacked a school in the north-eastern region of the country taking nearly 300 girls. Four years later, 100 of those girls have yet to be found.

Tragically, last month, Boko Haram struck again. After the military pulled out of the town of Dapchi, leaving it relatively defenseless, men raided a local girls schools and took 110 more students — some of them as young as 11 years of age. Now the remaining students are afraid to return to school and the government is releasing contradictory information by the hour.

If past is prologue unless the government acts swiftly some of these girls could never be seen again.

Please join in solidarity with the parents of Dapchi and demand that president Muhammadu Buhari do all they can to find the Dapchi 110.
