President Trump has been disrespecting our troops for years ("suckers and losers", mocking a Gold Star family, etc.), so it's not too suprising that he's still doing it now.
But we're now in the middle of a war, and many of them are getting killed and wounded, so it really would be great if Trump could show even the tiniest bit of class and respect, and avoid doing things like:
- Wearing a crappy baseball cap to a dignified transfer of fallen troops -- and then selling the same caps online to make money.
- Using another ceremony commemorating fallen soldiers to brag about his drapes.
- Calling the Iran war an "excursion", as if it were a picnic in the forrest.
And most disrespectful of all -- sending troops to risk their lives in a war that was unnecessary, and that Trump can't even come up with a straight reason for. It's hard to get worse than that.
Please add your name: "President Trump, stop disrespecting the troops."
