This Amazing Foundation Temporarily Shelters The Pets of Domestic Violence Survivors!

Most domestic violence shelters in the United States tragically do not accept or allow pets. The last thing that anyone suffering as a victim of domestic violence should have to worry about is the safety and well-being of their pet, but unfortunately, this is a very common reason why so many domestic violence survivors elect to stay in an unsafe home.

Praline's Backyard Foundation could change all of that, by offering a place for domestic violence survivors to house their furry friends while they search for safe and stable housing. The foundation is set to open in fall of 2023, and it needs all the financial support it can get!

Sign now to tell the Domestic Violence Unit of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council: grant funds to this organization so that it can continue to expand and save human and non-human lives!

Moving pets around, even in the best of circumstances, can be stressful for them. Under violent conditions, constant movement is a recipe for disaster and trauma for our beloved pets. This is why funding Praline's Backyard Foundation is so crucial: to protect both pets and their owners from violence and abusers.

The work that Praline's Backyard Foundation is doing is vital to protecting human and non-human lives across the state of Georgia. The CJCC's Domestic Violence Unit must fund this organization so that more and more survivors of abuse across the state can seek safety and know their pets are in good hands.
