Pass HB 3236 Now!

There is legislation working its way through Springfield, which will enable small businesses to create their own non-profit health insurance plans. These co-operatives will be operated and governed by advocates, and representatives of the business owners and employees, enrolled in the co-operatives.

The time is now for all in the small business community, and everyone interested in a better Illinois, to join together and let the State Senate know that this legislation is needed now. The bill is HB 3236 and it is sponsored by Senator Jeff Schoenberg. HB 3236 got stuck in the Insurance Committee in May. Please sign this petition to urge our Senators to get the bill out of the Insurance Committee, onto the floor, and passed by the Illinois Senate.  Let our politicians know that the time has come to stand with small businesses that need affordable health insurance and to do the right thing for the entrepreneurs, business owners, and employees that drive the Illinois economy.
