For those who will not be able to attend the school board meeting on Monday, June 10, at 5:30, at the City Council Chambers, but would still like to voice your support for Coach Jim Adams, please sign our petition so your voice is heard. This petition is in favor of renewing Coach Jim Adams' contract as head football coach at John I. Burton High School. Coach Adams has been a coach at Burton for over 40 years and the head coach for the past 21. During his tenure as head coach, he has won 173 games, 6 district championships, 6 regional championships, had 5 state championship appearances, has taken his team to the playoffs all but 3 of those years, and has been in a playoff game for 17 consecutive years. He was given no warning or reason for his dismissal as head coach. I urge you all to stand with Coach Adams, his family, and all of Raider Nation in support of Coach Adams and in opposition of this decision made by the leadership committee of Norton City Schools by signing this petition.
