Tell the College Board to fight DeSantis' ban on Black History!

On the first day of Black History Month, the College Board announced they would be caving to pressure from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and gutting its African American AP course of content that upsets white supremacists.

No longer will students have to learn about the Black Lives Matter movement, incarceration, queer life, or the debate over reparations. Nor will they read the works of authors like bell hooks, Kimberlé W. Crenshaw, Roderick Ferguson or Ta-Nehisi Coates, who have all been purged from the curriculum.

Demand the College Board restore the purged African American studies material!

It is truly appalling to see the company that determines what is and isn't taught to tens of millions of highschool students across the nation cave so thoroughly to the demands of an autocratic ideologue pushing a racist narrative for his own selfish political agenda.
