Help us show we desperately need a wrestling room at our High School, and for our athletes!! For years, our community has ignored the fact that the wrestling team needs their own space and their own place to call home. They wrestle in the middle school gym, with the curtain drawn, kicked out by other programs, peewee clubs and middle school practices or games. Currently and usually, they wrestle in a gym with no heat, and no privacy. They need to feel like a team, have their colors on the wall, names of previous champions around them.. support!!!! Our district/commnunity gives new softball/baseball fields, football field and stadium, greenhouse and gym floors... yet, we have no wrestling room. These boys work their tails off, and they have love and support from parents, coaches and friends... yet, nothing from the district... let's show them we care... Sign the Petition!!!!

Happy Monday to you all!! We have 216 signatures!! Yippee! I am on the "docket" for the School Board meeting January 17, at 6:30 p.m. If any of you can come and show support, it would be much appreciated! There is also some behind the scenes work being done, and if any of you have any information for me that may be helpful, please speak up, and contact me. Thank you again for your support!!

Wow!! Almost 200 signatures! Thank you!! This is the beginning... I am figuring out some ways to get this to the board in a different way that they've been approached before, if at all, and to get the community involved. I am going to come up with some community events... maybe some type of initial fundraiser and lets get the word out to companies... the district tells me it is a community issue, so we will bring the community to them!! These boys and young athletes deserve a room!!!!
