At this point, it has become painfully obvious to everyone involved — even among his own agents — that Kash Patel is completely unqualified to be FBI director and should be removed from office immediately.
Patel has spent the entirety of his calamitous tenure dogged by ridiculous, self-inflicted scandals. Patel has insisted on using the bureau as his own personal travel agency and security detail for his 27-year-old girlfriend. He's also displayed stunning incompetence when he has pretended to work, like when he announced that the FBI had arrested Charlie Kirk's shooter — via Twitter — when no such apprehension had occurred.
Now we have news that Patel is drinking on the job and missing meetings because he's in a drunken stupor.

Behind Kash's back, FBI agents call him the "Make-A-Wish" director. They've leaked damaging stories to the media, including the time he refused to disembark from a plane without an FBI jacket on and forced agents working the Charlie Kirk incident to drop what they were doing so that he could cosplay as a law enforcer.
Oh, he's also been caught entrapping Muslim teenagers and then parading them for the cameras like he caught Osama bin Laden himself.
This situation is untenable. There are serious threats facing the American public, largely related to right-wing domestic terrorism, and we need an FBI director who is both competent and dedicated to actual law enforcement, not a podcast bro who's using taxpayer dollars to jet around the country to visit his girlfriend at her music concerts.
