GET OSCAR HOME!!!!

PLEASE help!! Oscar was being walked home on his lead and harness, and his owner and Oscar were approached by a postal worker who wanted to stroke Oscar. He was advised not to as Oscar didn’t know him and no aggression was shown (in fact Oscar didn't know anything had happened!) but a small tear injury to the underside of the stranger’s arm was sustained. Unfortunately, postal workers under the Communication Workers Union (CWU) are contractually obliged to report all incidents, this being exceptional circumstances and a complete accident.

All parties assumed that a "community resolution" would resolve the matter as all parties remain on good terms. Even the postal worker himself does not want this to go any further. The police see it differently however, and have chosen to seize Oscar and proceed with a criminal prosecution. Our aim of the petition is to make people aware of Oscar’s plight and to hopefully make the Metropolitan Police see sense so that a community resolution IS used. Oscar has an unblemished record - as does his owner.

PLEASE sign and share our petition far and wide. Let’s get Oscar back where he belongs – HOME!!

Update #18 years ago
Unfortunately, Oscar is still being held in undisclosed kennels. His owner still hasn't received a court date for him, but I will keep you updated xx
