A ban on using traps to catch and kill lynxes. Animals are not just killed but actually tortured when they are trapped. And the most cynical thing is that these people brag about their torment of innocent creatures, posting videos on well known platforms, blogging. And it doesn't matter if they do it for profit or for some kind of pleasure. For example, it is known that some animals even if they manage to escape, can not hunt further due to serious injuries and are forced to die slowly. It is difficult to say what motivates those who allow the use of traps, but it can be compared to a murder commited with extreme cruelty.
Lynx meat is not used as food, and its fur is not as valuable as, for example, sable fur, to mercilessly kill the animal.
Therefore a law to prohibit is necessary on use of steel-jawed leg-hold traps. It is unlawful for any person to use or authorize the use of any steel-jawed leg-hold trap, padded or otherwise, to capture any game mammal, exotic game mammal, furbearing mammal, nongame mammal, protected mammal and commerce in raw furs obtained by using these prohibited traps.
For countries that call themselves ''civilized'' or consider themselves so, this is disgrace.
The more voices we can add to this cause, the more power we have to approach our targets.
