Sullivan Canyon Preservation Association charges ridiculous Membership fees for horses, riders, and instructors when it is supposed to be a public park not a country club! It is one of few horseback riding stables not in the San Fernando Valley!
There are better ways for Sullivan Canyon Preservation Association then Membership fees. They are:
1. Allow horse boarding
2. Get rid of the big money horse riding instructors
3. Start a PATH International Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center
4. Do fundraisers like gift wrap, magazines, gymkhanas, trail rides, and horse shows for the money
5. Make a $50 parking pass like Will Rogers Historic State Park
6. Horseback Riding Programs can charge for lessons
Make Sullivan Canyon Preservation Association a Public State Park not a wannabe Country Club!
