STOP Iowa legislators from banning your favorite LEGAL hemp & THC products!

Iowa Bills HSB 655 & SSB 3159 have some very serious implications:
1. THC Limitations: HHS could limit the THC content on popular products.
2. Indiscriminately charge people who possess hemp flower with possession of a product intended for inhalation and could face fines ranging from $450 to $2560 and up to 1 year in prison.
3. Farmers wouldn't be able to dry their crop in Iowa without the dried flower being considered for inhalation, making it illegal to dry your harvest.
4. Retailer Penalties: Unregistered retailers may be charged up to $10,000 per day for failure to register.
5. Youth Access: Selling or giving CBD balm to individuals under 21 could lead to fines of up to $855 and 30 days in jail, even if the product contains no THC.
6. Youth Usage Penalties: Individuals under 21 could face penalties for using CBD balm, irrespective of THC content.
7. Product Confiscation: Retailers may face product confiscation and disposal costs if they forget to seek HHS approval.
8. Farmer Protections Removed: Hemp farmers could be charged with the production of a controlled substance, facing up to 50 years in jail and a $1 million fine if their crops test slightly over the harvest limit.
