Ipsos MORI is a worldwide market research company, with a high reputation amongst policymakers. Many of their field interviewers have worked for them for decades.
Despite this loyalty, Ben Page, the CEO, cynically regards long-serving part-time interview staff - who are the key workforce delivering the results - as 'casual workers' and denies them full employment rights such as sick pay and the proper conduct of disciplinary procedures, totally disregarding an Industrial Tribunal Appeal* ruling that they do have full rights. It is time for Ben Page to accept the findings of the most senior Employment Court Appeal in the UK, and grant workers full rights as employees.
