Demand a stop to moose hunting in Maine

More than a 1000 moose are killed each year during a one-week hunt. People from out of state also may participate. The moose are already facing changes as their habitat is destroyed cutting down trees and limiting destruction of other potential habitat so the moose cannot move freely. The population is shrinking and something must be done. These animals, especially males with huge horns, are used as trophy kills, and nothing more is done with the body. Please send a strong message to our very Republican current governor, Paul LePage. A race for governor occurs this year and hopefully a Democrat will be elected. LePage has already served 2 terms. Please save Maine moose!
