A West Virginia Man Punched and Kicked a Dog

Another innocent, sweet pup was tragically beaten by a man in Mannington, West Virginia. In this instance, an adorable black Labrador Retriever was the victim. The suspect allegedly punched the dog in the head multiple times and even kicked it brutally in its stomach. By the time the dog received veterinary care, it had inflammation and bruising on both of its eyes, likely from an infection and the awful blunt force trauma it endured.

Sign now to tell the Marion County Sheriff's Department to sentence this man to counseling and a lifetime ban on animal ownership!

When officers got to the scene, the dog was clearly traumatized. Authorities said that the dog was shaking non-stop, had redness all over the white of its eyes, and continued to "put its paw up in fear of being struck." If a person is able to do this to an animal, they need counseling.

It is crucial that animal abusers receive sentences that actually protect animals in the future. The best thing that local authorities can do is mandate counseling for this man and ensure that he can never own another animal again! Sign the petition now if you agree!
