Help Put Mel Street into the Country Music Hall of Fame

Mel Street was a traditional country music singer/songwriter back in the 1960's and 1970's..He is best known for his hit songs "Borrowed Angel","Forbidden Angel","I met a Friend of Yours Today","The Town Where You Live","This Time I Hurt Her More Than She Loves Me'',"Smokey Mountain Memories","Just Hanging On". The man from Grundy,Va should have his picture in the dictonary right next to the statement Country Music..Mel was on a level with George Jones and Hank Williams in terms of delivering a country song..Perhaps one of the greatest pure country singers to ever live...The powers to be in Nashville continue year after year to ignore the accomplishments of this mans impact on country music..The old saying is if you pay at least $10,000 then you can maybe get your artist a place in the hall..That is not right..Those who have EARNED their way in should be there..Please halp me and the Street Family to get Mel placed where he rightfully belongs..Next to his peers...Thank all of you who will take a moment to sign.
