Tell Arby's: End PFAS in Food Wrappers

The longer food sits in packaging, the more likely it is for Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to migrate to your food, especially for hot food that comes in wrappers made with these 'forever chemicals'.

Unfortunately, a new Consumer Reports investigation found high levels of PFAS in the wrappers of some popular fast-food chains. And while several other national brands have commited to eliminate intentionally added PFAS in their packaging, Arby's still hasn't made a public commitment.

Frequent exposure to PFAS is dangerous because our bodies can't easily break down these chemicals, which have been linked to cancer, hormone disruption, immune system suppression, and other health problems.

We're calling on Arby's to take action and make a public, time-bound commitment to end the use of PFAS in their food packaging and wrappers, just like other major chains in our investigation did. Sign our petition to demand that they take action now!

I urge you to make a public commitment to end the use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in your food packaging and wrappers, which have been linked to cancer and other serious health problems. Please do your part to ensure consumers don't have to fear exposure to toxic chemicals when purchasing food from your establishment for their family or loved ones.
