Congratulations Michael Moore! We Are With You!

On Oscar Night 2003, Mr. Michael Moore was awarded an Oscar for his
Documentary film "Bowling for Columbine". The Oscars rewarded the painful
truth and honesty of that film. But Michael Moore has been looking into the
truth behind the American Dream for a long time, uncovering corruption,
supporting the forgotten man, and helping the little people by focusing a
spotlight on their overlooked troubles. He has consistently and honestly
looked at America and told the truth.
So it is no surprise that on Oscar Night, Michael Moore took the stand and said what he felt,
..I have invited my fellow documentary nominees on the stage with us, and we would like to - they're here in solidarity with me because we like nonfiction. We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects aMichael Moore was cheered by some, booed by a few, and attacked afterwards for "hijacking" the awards. We all know the meaning of hijacking... and he didn't do that! Michael Moore took a stand and voiced his opinion! Send your heartfelt applause to Michael Moore.fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it's the fictition of duct tape or fictition of orange alerts we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And any time you got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is up. Thank you very much.

In addition, we wish to thank you for your courage, integrity and honesty in
speaking your mind on Oscar Night.
You stood up and voiced your opinions despite silence, boos and and some
jeering. It is critical for our celebrities to
take a stand for what they know is right. Truth and Honesty vocalized by
those with the loudest voices and the greatest
influence can be felt across the globe. Their silence leaves a terrible
void. I hope that you can encourage other celebrities to speak out as well.
Finally, we wish to stand with you in solidarity against a government that
is no longer for the people, of the people or by the people.
