Stop Corporations From Taking Over Our Democracy

Our very democracy is in peril.

In 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that corporations have a "right" to spend literally as much money as they want trying to influence how you vote and to interfere with our elections.

The court's 5-4 decision in the case (Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission) radically misinterprets the true intention of the First Amendment. And it ignores generations of legal precedent--not to mention common sense.

Corporations are not people. Democracy is for people.

Add your name to our petition to Congress for a constitutional amendment to overturn the ruling and reclaim democracy for We the People.
Dear Congress Member,

In 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a case called Citizens United v. FEC that corporations have a "right" to spend unlimited money influencing elections.

Corporations are not people. Democracy is for people.

I'm calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United v. FEC ruling and reclaim our democracy for the American people.
