Tell Congress: Support Common Sense Gun Laws To Disarm Hate

When hate comes armed, it can be deadly. Last year it was an LGBTQ nightclub on Latin night in Orlando, a year before it was a historic African-American church in Charleston.

This year, at least 17 transgender people have already become the victims of gun violence in America. We need Congress to take action to stop this senseless, hate-fueled gun violence. Right now, in most states, someone convicted of a violent hate crime can still legally buy a gun.

This is unacceptable. Whether it's racism, homophobia, misogyny, transphobia, xenophobia, religious intolerance or other bias — we demand to live in a country where we can be safe to be who we are, believe in what we want and love whomever we choose.

If you agree, fight with us — sign the petition to tell Congress: it’s time to pass common sense gun laws and disarm hate.
