Hundreds of families in San Francisco and Marin are now at risk of going hungry

The federal government has slashed nearly $200 billion from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — the most devastating cuts in the program's modern history. As a result, 25,000 local households, including families with children and seniors, are now at risk of losing their food assistance.

These cruel cuts come at a time when food insecurity is already skyrocketing. More and more of our neighbors are turning to the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank just to get by. But food banks alone cannot solve this crisis.

The Food Bank remains committed to ensuring every member of our community has access to healthy, nourishing food. We are also working tirelessly to protect and advocate for the federal programs that are the backbone of food security in this country.

Sign today to stand with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Help protect families from hunger, defend SNAP, and ensure nutritious food is available for all.
