Tell this Mega Bank to honor Indigenous rights

Japanese megabank MUFG is pouring billions into dirty fossil fuels — and one of the worst projects they're backing is Rio Grande LNG, a massive liquefied "natural" gas (aka LNG) terminal planned for South Texas.
It's being built without consent from Indigenous and local communities. If it moves forward, it'll destroy wetlands, wipe out wildlife, and add even more pollution to Latine and Indigenous neighborhoods. And it's just six miles from SpaceX — which has literally exploded before — potentially adding fuel to the fire in the worst possible way.
Let's be real: LNG isn't clean or safe — and using it isn't natural either. It's methane, a super-pollutant that traps heat fast and speeds up the climate crisis 80 times more than carbon, accelerating climate chaos at a time we can't afford to. That means more fires, floods, and unlivable heat — for all of us.
The good news? People like you are making a difference. Thanks to public pressure, five banks and an insurer have already dropped the project. Let's keep going.
