Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) was founded in 1981 to provide affordable housing to low-income individuals and families with children. From its humble beginnings in the Tenderloin to today, providing 6,300 residents a place to call home in our 45 buildings across seven neighborhoods in San Francisco, our mission is simple --- Home, Health, and Voice so all San Franciscans can thrive.
There are many barriers to affordable housing in San Francisco---low-income level, generational poverty, and unpredictable life events such as divorce and job loss. Still, the main contributor is the need for more affordable homes for everyone.
What would you do if tomorrow, due to unexpected circumstances, you, or someone you love, becomes unhoused?
If you believe everyone deserves a place to call their home in San Francisco, please sign this pledge and let us know you support affordable housing for all San Franciscans.
