Tell U.S. Congress: Don't let the Trump administration give the worst polluters a free pass!

The EPA has opened a backdoor to help the worst polluters skirt clean air laws – by inviting applications for a Presidential exemption from pollution safeguards.

This puts our fundamental right to clean air at risk and exposes communities to known health hazards, including brain-damaging mercury, cancer-causing benzene and arsenic and dozens of other hazardous and toxic chemicals linked to serious health effects.

These companies shouldn't get a free pass to pollute! Take action today by sending Congress a powerful message: "don't give the worst polluters a free pass!"

As your constituent, I write to express my deep concerns about the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) recent invitation to provide exemptions from critical pollution safeguards. By providing exemptions to our largest sources of industrial pollution, millions of Americans could be exposed to harmful levels of hazardous air pollution that exceed current limits under the Clean Air Act.

We cannot allow petrochemical manufacturers, coal power plants and other high-polluting industrial facilities to evade compliance with national pollution limits on the most toxic contaminants – including brain-damaging mercury, cancer-causing benzene and arsenic and approximately 190 other toxic chemicals.

Please urge the EPA to do its job and enforce vital limits on the most toxic forms of air pollution. The health of our communities depends on it.
