GOP: Stop Opposing Equal Pay for Equal Work

Every single GOP Senator just voted against ensuring women can get equal pay for equal work.

And some conservatives have the nerve to say there isn't a war on women.

Right now, women in our country make on average just 77 cents for every dollar men earn for similar jobs. That's unfair and it's unacceptable in a country that values equality and opportunity for all citizens.

Which is why it's so alarming that Republicans in Congress are so adamantly opposed to giving women the tools they need to demand fair and equal pay.

Senate Republicans didn't just vote against equal pay for women. They refused to even let the issue come to a vote, instead cowardly killing the Paycheck Fairness Act with yet another filibuster.

Our representatives need to know that they represent all Americans, including hard-working women around the country who deserve fair pay. Tell your representative that opposing equal pay is absolutely unacceptable.
Dear [Representative],

I was shocked to hear that every single Republican Senator just voted against ensuring women get equal pay for equal work.

Right now, women in our country make on average just 77 cents for every dollar men earn for similar jobs. That's unfair and it's unacceptable in a country that values equality and opportunity for all citizens. I urge you not to oppose legislation that would help women demand fair and equal compensation.
