Save Furry Feet Rescue Now from closure by County Department

 

Furry Feet Rescue has existed and thrived for five years, and it is under attack,.by the  Borough officials where it is located. What outrage is this!

Shelters and rescuers should not be treated like pet mills. This is an abuse of municipal authority, but scarcely an isolated one, nor limited to animal rescuers. Other targets of code compliance gestapo across the country include urban homesteaders and food gardeners, native plant gardeners, yard artists and free speakers of all stripes. It's proof that intrusive government isn't limited to "Big Government." Local governments can be every bit as bad or worse. They are far more subject to manipulation by realtors, neighborhood busybodies, the small minded and the flat out haters.
And what alternative does the code compliance department recommend? Just let the animals run wild through the neighborhood, hungry, uncontrolled and unfixed? Or does it want to gas them all? please sign the owner's petition which came out  recently after this one was started

We  the undersigned, implore the Code compliance of the County rescind its closing of the furry feet animal rescue facility. Its closure at the behest of a single bad neighbor, not even adjoining the property, is a out of line. Please cease and desist harassing these good people. We will be watching and will again rise to their defense if any future actions are done against this not for profit organization!
