Charge No More For Women’s Menstrual Needs!

Pads , tampons , and other menstrual products are listed as a “luxury item” for women. This is absurd given the fact that we need them during our periods. Pads and tampons are normally overpriced, and the affordable ones are always cheap and low quality. Women have struggled so long with periods and overpricing the products we need makes the situation even harder. For example homeless and less unfortunate women often have to use other items, such as clothes and towels, during their periods because they are unaffordable. This is unacceptable. A solution to this problem would be to either drastically drop the charges on Women’s pads and offer NO TAX or make it completely free for women to have access to good pads. Even if only the price drops and they still have a cost , it should not be as expensive as it is now. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
