Educate Our Students on Things That Matter!

Our students have a growing need to be educated about sexual health. The number of teen pregnancies in our state is alarmingly high and we believe it is because of a lack of knowledge provided by our school systems. While we have tried to push this issue in our local school, this needs to be brought up on a state level. Our proposition is that each school year starting in fifth grade, the school will provide a more in depth sexual health and education course for our students. We hope that introducing these courses will bring more understanding to things such as birth control methods, menstruation, sexual abuse/harassment, STDs/STIs, as well as anything else that could possibly come up.
