Let's Make AIDS History!

Sadly, 30 years after its discovery, HIV/AIDS is still having a devastating effect around the globe. Approximately 34 million people worldwide, including more than 1 million Americans, are living with this deadly disease.

And it continues to spread...with more than 7,000 men, women and children becoming newly infected with HIV each and every day. Although there are drugs to combat the disease, there is still no cure.

Help urge President to continue and increase the level of research on HIV/AIDS. We've all lived with the disease for 30 years now. Isn't it time we made it history?

Nearly 30 million people have died of HIV/AIDS worldwide, 600,000 in the United States alone. Without adequate research funding, this deadly disease will continue to claim the lives of Americans for years to come.

Although advances have been made to combat this pandemic, more needs to be done to help those affected by the disease with the goal of ultimately eradicating it.

Research on HIV/AIDS needs to be made a top priority and that can only happen if funding is consistently allocated towards this cause. I urge you to ensure funds are distributed to vital HIV/AIDS research.
