Clermont is a fantastic place to live! Its a growing city with a lack of affordable housing for our working class community, specifically those making in the range of $8-13 an hour. Many that work in our community, Fire Fighters, CNA's, retail workers, waiters, re, etc cannot afford the Clermont’s typical newer built rental rates of $940/month for 1BR and $1150 for 2BR. Currently there are only 2 affordable housing rental communities in Clermont that are 100% occupied with long waiting lists.
Our proposed apartment community would provide these working people and retired people a place to rent a 1 BR at approx.. $550/month and a 2BR apartment for $650

Those that work in our community, Fire Fighters, CNA's, 1st responders, waiters, etc cannot afford current Clermont new housing rates of $950 for 1BR and $1150 for 2BR. Our proposed development would allow these same families to afford a 1 BR apartment at $550 and a 2BR apartment for $650 By signing this petition, you support and agree that the City of Clermont is in much dire need of affordable housing for the deserving working class families and that the City Council board members should approve the proposed development.
