Help Blind Veterans Receive Loving Guide Dog Partners!

America's returning veterans face multiple challenges, including unemployment. For those who are blind and want to rejoin the workforce, the ability to travel on public transportation with the help of a professionally trained guide dog increases their opportunities for employment.

Guiding Heroes is a program offered by Guiding Eyes for the Blind, one of the nation's top guide dog schools. This program enables blind and visually impaired U.S. military veterans to receive professionally trained Guiding Eyes dogs FREE OF CHARGE. Our dedicated staff works with numerous agencies and rehabilitation centers that provide assistance to blind veterans, including the Veterans Administration, veterans' hospitals and service centers, and government offices. Through coordinated efforts, we help blind and/or wounded veterans to re-establish themselves in civilian life.
