Send a Girl In Colombia to School and Unleash Her Power

Globally, nearly 1 in 5 adolescent girls are out of school.

Girls of all ages around the world are being denied an education right at a time when they have the power to transform their lives and the world around them.

This isn't fair. It isn't right.

As part of its Because I am a Girl initiative, Plan Canada is working to assist over 2,100 girls and young women in Colombia through the following initiatives:
- Help displaced girls re-enter the education system, and ensure their transition back to school is successful
- Provide young women access to post-secondary education and vocational training

Through these initiatives, the most vulnerable girls will be empowered with skills and a chance for a better future.
