The most beautiful car ever built in America. Let's bring it back! Every so often, a group of entrepreneurs brings back the Avanti -- and that is good, but it just does not have the same timeless lines of Studebaker Commander Starliner!

It is the only American car that was ever showcased in the NY Museum of Modern Art. Google it, Wiki it, Youtube it; you'll be impressed with what you read.

If bailing out GM and Chrysler makes ANY sense at all, then reviving the Commander Starliner would be genius.
