Correct The Endangered Species Act

Correction to the Endangered Species Act is badly needed.

Please add your voice to tell congress that these changes must be made.

Currently the ESA only applies to the lower 48 states.

In order to protect endangered species and to prevent other species from becoming endangered corrections must be made.

These corrections are that the ESA must apply not only to the lower 48 states, but to all states, territories and holding of the United States, equally.

Failing to provide these protections violates the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment of the U.S. constitution.

Without the needed corrections the efforts to protect endangered species will fail.

We the undersigned respectfully request the changes needed to correct the short comings of the Endangered Species Act.

The failure of the ESA to protect endangered species in all of the U.S. states falls short of the requirements of the Equal Protection clause of the 14th amendment of the United States constitution in as much as it excludes certain states from legislative requirements applied to 48 other states.

As it stands, the ESA fails to add the protections required to provide the protections to all states equally required by the People of the United States.
