Calves are treated and live in inhumane environments all around the U.S. They are forced to stand in their own filth day in and day out, without even enough room to turn around. Calves are driven to anemia to give their skin the desired pale look for farmers, and are purposefully not exercised in order to create a "more tender meat". This process is inhumane, unethical, and serves no legitimate purpose other than to appease those who would turn a blind eye to the cruelty, and indulge in a good meal. Be the better person, open your eyes to the cruelty these young animals live/die in, and sign this petition to help end the violence.
We the undersigned petition to outlaw the production and purchase of crated veal. Calves being crated and kept in stalls that limit their movement, being denied solid food and iron in their diets is inhumane and there needs to be a change.
