Homebuyer Credit Expanded and Extended isnt Retroactive for 2009

This petition is for anyone who purchased a new Primary Residence between 1-1-09 and 11-06-09 and lived in there prior home for 5 years. The new bill signed into Law on 11-6-09 was not retroactive for all of 2009.

My family purchased in April of 2009 and had to bid over asking price so that we could compete with the first Time home buyers out there....
 
I am trying to get as many people to sign this petition so that we can let congress know our displeasure with the new law. We all took a chance and purchased a home during one of the worst time in real estate history......

Not only do we not get the credit we all paid more for our homes do the buyers who did qualify for the credit bidding up the prices.... I've read thru lots of message boards and I know im not alone in this...
