Philosophers in Solidarity with the Occupy Movement

As teachers and scholars of philosophy, we recognize that social justice is a condition of possibility for meaningful and equitable education and knowledge production. For this reason, it behooves philosophers to stand in solidarity with the Occupy Movement and all other movements that are working to promote this end.

We, the Undersigned,

As teachers and scholars of philosophy, recognize that social justice is a condition of possibility for meaningful and equitable education and knowledge production. For this reason, we stand in solidarity with the Occupy Movement, and we pledge to offer as much assistance to it as possible in our special capacity as teachers, scholars, and intellectuals.
