We've all heard the phone call where Donald Trump pressured a Georgia election official to "find" enough votes to overturn the results and give him the state. And this was apparently just one of multiple calls to Georgia officials where Trump tried to steal the election and effectively end our democracy.
It's time for Georgia officials to bring criminal charges against Trump. Add your name, and ask them to do it ASAP.
A Fulton County (Atlanta) grand jury has been looking at the case, and DA Fani Willis indicated in January that a decision whether to indict was "imminent." We welcome this, and urge her to move against Trump. And we urge other Georgia officials to bring similar cases as appropriate.
We need Trump to be held accountable for his many, many crimes – and an indictment in Georgia would be a great start!
But we can't afford to wait too long. Trump is an ongoing threat to our nation, and we need to move now.
