DEMAND AN END TO THE IVF POSTCODE LOTTERY

We are demanding an end to the IVF postcode lottery in England. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommend 3 x cycles of NHS funded IVF for women under 40 experiencing infertility. Infertility has been identified by the World Health Organisation as a disease - it's about time it was treated as such. Throughout England, Clinical Commissioning Groups have been given leniency to decide how many cycles of IVF they offer fertility patients, with more than 80% of CCG's FAILING to follow the NICE guidance. Your entitlement to IVF depends on your postcode, and we are demanding an end to this. We are demanding that CCG's are held accountable for the unfair system, the inequalities that 1 in 7 couples facing infertility face. We demand equal access to fertility treatment.
