I lost my beloved Lux and Ellis in July 2014. My daughter put me and my husband, in a homeless shelter. I had to give up my three dogs. I was able to get Koko back. We, then, became homeless, in order to keep her. We have since been living in Grants Pass, Oregon. We were taken in by a wonderful individual. I have a job in a pharmacy. I am a English Education major and wrote a book about my dogs. I am not asking to upset my dogs and their new environment. I only want to know that they are alive, loved, safe and happy. Please help me find closure. I am sure they need it too. We were dedicated to each other, as no other.

Thank you to everyone, who can empathize. I saw your signatures, beautiful people! I crossed the country, with my three dogs. I was never alone. They were the best friends, I could ever ask for. I never felt unsafe. There were moments. We continued driving. We all chowed together. To take my loves. Well, horrible crap happens. I can atest.
