Stop the cruel Bear Bating sport in Pakistan

In this cruel form of entertainment a terrified bear is dragged into an arena and forced to fight against a pair of dogs. Filled with fear the bear knows what is about to take place;tied to a post on the ground they cry out and wait for the assault to begin.

In most cases their teeth have been removed, and their claws dulled so they cannot defend themselves properly. The dogs lunge at their throats and nose again and again opening fresh wounds until their strength and energy is taken from them. Before it becomes fatal for the bear the game is stopped, only to be repeated again at another event.

In between fights this misery continues. They are tied to a post in the hot scorching sun where their wounds never heal. They are fed an inadequately healthy diet, and are barely given enough water to drink, The cries of these bears are heart-wrenching.

Please tell the government in Punjab province ( Pakistan), and across the country to stop this barbaric sport, and inhumanity to these beautiful, intelligent animals.
