Protect federal land in the West!

In December, Ken Salazar issued an order to make millions of acres of public land eligible for wilderness protection. The December order reversed the Bush administration%u2019s 2003 policy which opened up Western federal land to commercial development. On June 1, 2011, Salazar sent a memo to the director of the Bureau of Land Management reversing the order.
