WPS: No More PCR Test Requirements

Westborough Public Schools continues to require a negative PCR test after out-of-state travel, despite Governor Baker ending all restrictions on May 29, 2021. The Westborough Board of Health sees no basis to require testing. Our 7 day state average is 0.68% - and there have not been any cases in school in past weeks, and only a handful in the whole town. We are at 100% capacity at venues like the Garden and Fenway in MA, but our students who travel overnight out-of-state must produce a negative PCR test. This makes no sense and causes an undue burden on families.
