What now?

Several people have loved ones buried here, and several people have already paid to be buried here. Now the problem lies with the owner and possible bankruptcy. The cemetery has not had any upkeep in at least months if not years. Going to visit loved ones there is heartbreaking as they are not laying in green grass with fresh flowers. They are laid down surrounded by dead grass and flowers, broken trees laying on graves, piles of trash located at the office and entry to the cemetery. Its quiet disheartening to see. When loved ones pass on you can not get in contact with anyone to open and close the plots, its impossible to handle things in a timely manner. Now that people are taking a stand they are informed that the owner is facing bankruptcy and that there's a possibility that those who own plots will lose them. They will forfeit the rights to be buried beside their loved ones. Where do we go from here and how do we prevent this?! Does anyone have the answers we need?! If you want answers please sign this petition so that it can be presented to the NC Cemetery Commission, the Governor, local senate and house representatives, whoever it needs to be seen by for us to get answers and protect our loved ones in their resting places.
