Forgive the American Student

  • I am from a generation who was pressured to go to college during a recession, and who's allotted loan amount was based on our parents assets as though everyone's parents send their kids to college. On top of that many universities charge outrageous amounts and many are FOR PROFIT. A large amount of us couldn't afford to stay long enough to graduate. Now we have two heartbreaks, that of failing and that of owing for it. The debt nationally of us all is ridiculous. These are working people.

So many people would participate more actively in our economy if we were free of the haunting frivolity of student loans.

Forgiving student loans could invigorate the economy and restore faith in so much of this nation.
