By signing this petition, you are stating your support for a BOOM after every touchdown, and when the Danville Bears win their game. This BOOM is an exciting way to pump up our players, encourage our fans, and spread the good news of a touchdown throughout the community.
The Danville Football Moms would like to support our football team by having a BOOM after every touchdown, and when we win our games. We have a Sponsor who will pay for each night, including the insurance. We also have a licensed pyro-technician who has volunteered his time and expertise. Upon approaching the city council, three of the five members have said No. We promptly submitted a permit to the Des Moines County Board of Supervisors. This permit was approved, and we will be having BOOM's this coming Friday at our Homecoming Football Game, outside of city limits. The City Council has now stated they would like to discuss this again, as they are unhappy about our current location. The Football Moms will begin their appeal again this Monday, September 22 at the Danville City Council meeting. Please show your support of the BOOM by signing this petition. Thank you!
