Demand Insurance companies to provide coverage for the repair of Diastasis Recti

Hello and thank you for takinf time out to read this. My petition is get isurance companies to listen to women who have multiple pregnancies and is now left with a condition called Diastasis Recti:A diastasis recti is the seperation in your abdominal muscles. This condition can cause severe / chronic back pain, stomach discomfort, bowel, hernia, and digestive problems, just to name a few. The only treatment is through surgery. Insurance companies will not pay for this because they classify this as being "cosmetic" although women are suffering from the many symptoms that I've mentioned before. Insurance companies will pay for things that can also be classified as "cosmetic" such as breast reductions for patients with chronic back pain or gastric bypass for patients who are obese. Help stop medical predijuce by signing this petiton. We pay insurance companies, weekly,bi weekly and even monthly for others. We should have the right for adequate coverage. This condition not only affect women who has had children, it affects us ALL including me!
