The hearing protection act is an important piece of legislation which should be passed in order to eliminate the extremely excessive tax imposed on suppressors. Our goal is to rally support in congress, and have this act passed. This act will protect firearms enthusiasts and hunters from hearing loss, and the combination of in ear protection and barrel mounted suppressors will lead to less hearing loss among marksman.
We urge you to support the Hearing Protection Act. This legislation will be an important step in curbing hearing loss which is so prevailent in the gun owning community. This act will remove the excessive tax placed on suppressors. Suppressors with the use of in ear protection will greatly reduce hearing loss. this will lead to more healthy and able gun owners. Doctors have supported this act as an effective means of preventing hearing loss. It is very nessecary for hunters because they do not wear in ear protection because it is impractical. This means their only form of protection would come from these suppressors.
