Financial help for grandparents bringing up their grandchildren.

Grandparents who need to bring up their grandchildren for whatever reason are not getting enough financial help from local authorities. If these children went to foster carers, the carers would be paid hundreds of pounds a week per child so why are grandparents denied this much needed financial help? Some are having to come out of retirement and go back to work in order to maintain these children. Would the Prime Minister please arrange for somene to look at this situation as soon as possible please?
