SAVE OUR WATER SUPPLY

The Hualapai Valley Solar project, Kingman Arizona, is a WET-cooled solar power plant and will uses massive amounts of water from our communities aquifer. We depend entirely on this source for ALL of our water needs. This WET-cooling process is totally unacceptable and radiates ruthless and selfish business practices by any who would use it in this area.
We are in the middle of a DESERT with seriously depleting water resources. WET-cooled solar projects (which are EXTREMELY water intensive) are NOT a solution to fossil fuels.
Utilizing a finite resource such as water is not appropriate, ethical or scientifically conducive to our survival as a community nor a species. It is simply not an appropriate trade off.
The greed and selfishness of corporations who don't give any consideration to the human beings who live and struggle to survive in Mohave County Arizona and elsewhere must be told once and for all that we will not tolerate the destruction of our water supplies for profit. We refuse to make a handful of selfish men millionaires on the back of tax paying Americans through stimulus funding i.e. our tax dollars!
Let's do it right and truly make a difference in our community! Tell Hualapai Valley Solar Corporation that they are NOT welcome in our community unless they produce their energy DRY-cooled with limited water depletion!
WE THE PEOPLE stand together in telling our representatives at ALL LEVELS that we deny Hualapai Valley Solar the opportunity to DESTROY OUR WATER SUPPLY FOR PROFIT!
There are MANY other solar projects lined up and anxious to come into our community DRY-cooled (very little water usage) and supply good jobs to you and I. They want to be a productive and positive part of this community and not a destructive one! We welcome those companies into our beautiful town.
